Swire Coca-Cola Update on Plans for New Production Facility

Swire Coca-Cola takes pride in being a long-standing, reliable business partner in Denver and across Colorado.
We plan to make a significant regional investment in a new production facility. The new facility will replace our existing production facility at York Street, which is the oldest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the country and has reached the end of its planned operational life. The new facility will help meet growing demand for our products and provide a modernized facility for our employees.
Unforeseen delays and ongoing timeline instability have severely impacted the viability and delivery of the project. As such, we will no longer pursue the originally proposed location for the development of a new production plant. We will select a different location where we can establish a more reliable timeline for building the new facility.
We are grateful to the individuals and organizations who came together to support the proposed facility. We remain committed to Denver and the local community. We employ 530 people at our distribution center in Central Park. We also support numerous local organizations across Denver including the Far Northeast and will continue to do so.
