(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO) – July 12, 2022 – Local bottler and distributor, Swire Coca-Cola, USA announces the grand opening of its newest facility in Colorado Springs. The new sales center and warehouse sits on a 17.27-acre parcel near the airport and will allow for future expansion.
The 145,000 square-foot building will house Swire’s 140 employees, provide office and meeting space, and doubles the warehouse space for the 50 brands that Swire provides to local businesses.
“Swire Coca-Cola is committed to this community and this new facility demonstrates that,” said Craig Hagler, Rocky Mountain Division Vice President for Swire Coca-Cola. “We look forward to offering our longtime employees this new home and we’d love to welcome anyone who might be considering starting a new career.”

As part of Swire’s commitment to being the best corporate citizen, the new facility is energy efficient – with west-facing, open-concept architecture, and glass walls to maximize natural heat and light. Swire will also install a 900-killowatt solar array to power the building in June. The solar panels will help support Swire’s goal of generating 100% renewable electricity for its core operations by 2026.

In addition to generating renewable electricity, Swire’s Sustainable Development Strategy includes collecting one bottle or can for each one sold and increasing recycled content in its packaging to 50% by 2030 while also making its packaging 100% recyclable by 2025.
